Avondale Youth Volleyball

If your little ones are used to playing outdoors for most of the summer, they may start to get stir crazy when the colder months roll in. Indoor volleyball will keep kids entertained all season long. When the weather gets cooler, we at ASC prepare the volleyball courts for our winter session. During a span of 9 weeks, kids will learn the fundamentals of volleyball, learn how to excel in the sport, make friends, and so much more. 

The Best Youth Volleyball League in Avondale 

At the Arizona Sports Complex, we fully understand what it takes to teach children a new sport. We pride ourselves on being a safe-zone where children can learn essential life lessons through games. Kids will be taught discipline, motivation, how to lose and win, and how to be a good teammate. Our coaches help kids master the complex skill set necessary to achieve their goals on the volleyball court. All of our coaches go through rigorous classroom training to learn the most beneficial ways of passing their knowledge on to the children. Without a good coach, success is impossible. Our coaches are fair, dedicated, motivated, and have plenty of experience working with youth. 

Kids can come as young as 7 years old up to age 17. Practices are held once per week where our coaches run drills, sharpen their skills, and boost confidence. Every Saturday, the kids will put their new skills to the test in weekly matches. At the end of the 9-week session, we hold the exciting end-of-season single-elimination tournament.

• November - Celebrate Veterans Day at a community gathering in Avondale to honor those who have served our country. The event will commence with a ceremony as well as a Fitness Fun Run. The service will be held on the lawn area of EMCC with a special performance by the EMCC Jazz Ensemble. 
• December - Winterfest is the signature event to welcome winter. The 2019 Avondale Winterfest will be held on December 7 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Don’t miss out on ice skating, snow, live entertainment, and the holiday light show. Bring the whole family and kick off the holiday season with Santa himself. He will be there all night, so be sure to snap some photos with Old Saint Nick. 
• February - Once the hustle and bustle of the holiday season pass, the Tres Rios Nature Festival is the perfect way to wind down. Held at the end of February, this free outdoor festival showcases the rich history and culture of the area. There will be guided tours, canoeing, archery, fishing, and learning about Southwest wildlife. This is a 2-day event the entire family can enjoy.
